This document outlines the basic requirements and selection procedure for members wishing to hold a staff position within Twilight Gamers (Tg). The ability to hold a position will be based on the below requirements and the availability of a position. Game Leaders may pick who they wish to fill a position, so long as the meet the below requirements or a waiver has been granted by Tg Administrators. Please also note that Tg Administrators maintain veto rights over all positions, but this is an option that is only used when Tg Administrators feel it it is in the best interest of the community.

Posting a Position:
Game Leader should be posting for all open position within their respective areas of responsibility. Posting should be left open for at minimum of one week to allow for members to view the post and respond if they are interested. Clear instructions should also be included on how to apply for the position, i.e. via Private Message.

Application Review:
After closing the application submission portion of the process; you should review all applications, you may include your leadership team if applicable, and submit the name(s) of your preferred candidate(s) for review by the Game Leaders in the Great Hall. This is done for several reason: (1) we want to make sure that members who hold positions are not spreading themselves thin by taking on too many responsibilities; (2) An Administrator or Moderator will comment to let you know if the member is in good standings, i.e. no active infractions, etc. (3) The candidate meets the necessary requirements; (4) If the candidate does not meet the requirements then a wavier request can be submitted to the Tg Administrators.

Offering the Position:
After the applications have been reviewed and your preferred candidate(s) has/have been approved you may offer them the position. DO NOT offer positions until the review process has been completed.

Requesting Access:
Game Leader should post up in the Chalk Board forum requesting the necessary access and officer's rank, etc for the approved candidate(s). An Administrator will process the request within 48 hours (72 hours on weekends); most request are completed much sooner.

Moderator & Administrator Selection:
These positions will be reviewed by the Tg Administration team for placement. Comments maybe requested from Tg Founding Members; i.e. The Study.

Requirements:
The following are the requirements for each staff position.
No member who has caused drama, ragequit, or been disruptive in the past year (365 days) will be considered for a position within Tg, unless a wavier has been granted by Tg Administrators.

Officer:
Members wishing to be officers must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a member in good standing; i.e. no active infractions, no active warnings and not on probation.
2. Have been a member of Twilight Gamers for at least one (1) month.
3. Intermediate/Good knowledge of the game and area of anticipated responsibility.
4. Active member on the Forums; positing a couple of times a week (regardless of which forum the post are made).
5. Position being applied for must be for the member's primary game.

Leader*:
Members wishing to be Leaders of a specific game must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a member in good standing; i.e. no active infractions, no active warnings and not on probation.
2. Have been a member of Twilight Gamers for at least three (3) months.
3. Very Good/Excellent knowledge of the game and area of anticipated responsibility
4. Active member on the Forums; positing a few times a week (regardless of which forum the post are made).
5. Some Dispute Resolution skills.
6. Basic knowledge of Moderator Tools; leaders are required to moderate their forums within the guidelines of the Tg Forum Rules & Terms and Conditions of Use. (When in doubt report the post for a Tg Moderator to review the issue)

Realm Sovereign:
Position is currently not used by Tg.

Moderator*:
Members wishing to be a Moderator must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a member in good standing; i.e. no active infractions, no active warnings and not on probation.
2. Have been a member of Twilight Gamers for at least six (6) months.
3. Active member on the Forums; positing a several times a week (regardless of which forum the post are made).
4. Dispute Resolution skills.
5. Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Moderator Tools.
6. Must work well in a team environment.
7. Must ALWAYS maintain neutrality.

Administrator:
Members wishing to be an Administrator must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a member in good standing; i.e. no active infractions, no active warnings and not on probation.
2. Have been a member of Twilight Gamers for at least one (1) year.
3. Active member on the Forums; positing a several times a week (regardless of which forum the post are made).
4. Dispute Resolution skills.
5. Advanced knowledge of Moderator Tools.
6. Must work well in a team environment.
7. Must ALWAYS maintain neutrality

*Moderators, Realm Sovereigns, Game Leaders are not allowed to supervise their significant other/partner/spouse.
