Staff Reponsiblities

This document outlines the basic responsibilities for the various staff positions within Twilight Gamers (Tg). Your Game Leader or an Administrator make make changes to your specific responsibilities depending on the needs of the community.

Staff Members in supervisory roles are not allowed to supervise their partners, spouses or significant others.

Game Officers:

Officers report to their game's Guild or Squad Leader (Game Leader). The Game Leader will direct the officer in any additional responsibilities not outlined here:

  • Assist with Guild/Squad Invites/Introduction.
  • Answer questions about the game and offer assistance to players.
  • Report any issues to the Game Leader.
  • Assist with Guild/Squad Events as directed by Game Leader
  • Assist Game Leader with projects related to running the guild/squad.
  • Assist Game Leader with recruitment.

Leaders:

Leaders report directly to Tg Administrators. The following are the basic responsibilities of Game Leaders. These responsibilities may need to be adjusted depending on the requirements of the game being lead.


  • Setup Leadership for the Game you are leading, i.e. officer selection
  • Setup process for Event Planning
  • Setup procedure for guild/squad invites/recruitment. (note: recruitment policy cannot conflicted with Tg's recruitment policy).
  • Handle minor dispute issues. Major issue should be escalated to Tg Administrators; Major issues are those that have the potential to result in infractions being issued, or members being banned.
  • Report any ongoing issues to Tg Administrators.

Moderators:

Moderators report directly to Tg Administrators. The following are the basic responsibilities of Moderators. These responsibilities may be adjusted as the needs of the community change.


  • Monitor all forums for which you are responsible.
  • When working within the Tg Game Forums section all moderators should notify the respective Game Leader if they take action within their forum.
  • If applicable, Moderators should be sure to process all applications within the Mud Room.
  • Issues, Drama, Problems etc:
    • Report any issues, or potential issues using the Report Post function or by creating a new post in the Play room. Be sure to make the thread Admin Attention!
    • Issues specific to one game, guild or squad should be reported to the Game Leader, in addition to Tg Administrators. Game Leaders are responsible for dealing with issues within their guilds/squads.
    • A Moderator maybe assigned to assist a Game Leader with dealing with an issue. Moderators are not to solve the issue. You are there to give advice and guidance to the Game Leader. If the issue requires a decision from the top it will come from a Tg Administrator.
  • TG utilizes several anti-spam measures to keep spam off the Tg website. However, there is still the potential for spammers to register, and post to the site. Please keep an eye out for spammers and ban them immediately.

Administrators:

Administrators report directly to Ownership. The following are the basic reponsibilities of Administrators. These reponsibilities may be adjusted as the needs of the community change.


  • Monitor Forums as needed; Check Moderator & Administrator Forums reguarly for items needed Admin Attention.
  • Oversee the Moderation Team. Assign duties and responsibilities beyond those mentioned here as needs arise.
  • Assist Moderators in processing applications in the Mud Room when time allows.
  • Issues, Drama, Problems etc.
    • Handle any reported issues, or potential issues as needed. Keep other Administrators informed of your actions in-case follow up is needed.
    • Report issues that may pose legal issues for Tg to Ownership immediately.
    • Work with Game Leaders as needed to solve issues within their respective areas.
    • Work with Moderators when they are assigned to assist a Leader.
    • If necessary resolve the issue according to Tg Guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned by Ownership.
